1. Introduction

Welcome to US Book Company. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the services we provide. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Services

US Book Company provides book writing, editing, publishing, marketing, and related services (“Services”). The specific scope of services for each client will be detailed in a separate Service Agreement. All services are provided on a “work for hire” basis, meaning the client (you) will own 100% of the rights to the final work product upon full payment.

3. Payments

Fees for our Services will be outlined in your Service Agreement. Typically, a deposit is required to commence work, with the balance due upon completion or at specified milestones. All payments are to be made in US Dollars. We reserve the right to suspend work if payments are not made on time.

4. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing all necessary information, materials, and feedback in a timely manner. Delays in providing feedback or necessary materials may result in a delay in the project timeline. You warrant that all materials you provide are your own original work or that you have the necessary rights to use them.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, all rights, title, and interest in and to the final manuscript and associated work products created by US Book Company for you will be transferred to you. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall US Book Company, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
